Characterised as a Muse by the Sea, K11 MUSEA is more than just a retail mall. It is a cultural destination that overlooks Hong Kong’s spectacular skyline from the unique vantage point of East Tsim Sha Tsui. Contemporary art and design are advocated throughout the retail and dining experience creating a vibrant space that brings each visitor on a sensory adventure. Prefacing the unique retail concept, Inside Muses was created as a publication that would feature key pieces from the four muses of K11 MUSEA: Architecture, Furniture, Nature and Art.
Reflecting the spirit of discovery, the reading experience of Inside Muses is guided by an unconventional book format which uncovers new perspectives at every physical turn per chapter. The narratives of the various muses are accompanied by intricate illustrations and vivid photography that bring to life the marvels inside the mall. Referencing the logo design of K11 MUSEA’s parent brand, K11, the cover design of Inside Muses is elevated with shimmering gold graphics in the shape of geometric circles that represent the sensuous spheres of the four muses.
Both regular and executive editions of the book are exquisitely crafted to depict the fine quality of K11 MUSEA. The regular edition is assembled with intricately hand sewn-binding while the executive hardcover edition is encased in a premium crystal acrylic box, reminiscent of the vitrines that display objets d’art.
